Firmware update failed
A critical DFU error occured
Security error: Failed to execute ‘requestDevice’ on ‘USB’: Must be handling a user gesture to show a permission request.
Try again and if the problem persists .. do what i’ve done now.

And then .. If an update was aborted etc. .. I can not close the “not found” dialog .. but after a bit of time the ECHON will be found anyway .. and the popup will go.
ah ok .. pressing write on startup worked .. I then get a dialog to allow the browser to do stuff .. and that must then be theat cryptic ‘user gesture’ .. so maybe earlier on it just popped up behind the main screen .. or something.

Anyway, just so you know .. messy and scary .. this was with Brave BTW . .and I feel brave too now o_O .
